Cork City. River-Streets-Music-Buildings-Parks

Cork. My city by the Lee.
----------------
When she was good,
She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

Cork’s a bit like Longfellow's little girl. Quite a tease. Take her river, for example. We swim in it, work by it, play by it. And then it floods, tosses our lives about.
And her streets. Walking down Pana, stopping to listen to the band. All is calm. Another day, there’s the traffic, loud horns wail. All is cacophony.
And then there are the parks. Great places for a walk, maybe a snooze in the sun. But not enough of them.
Nothing’s perfect. Not us. Not the home we love.
It’s the only city we’ve got. Keep making it better, keep making the best of it.
