TWENTY TWENTY ART GALLERY

TWENTY TWENTY

The current Tony O’Connor exhibition is the first solo show for recently opened art gallery Twenty Twenty www.2020artgallery.com on the North Mall. Owner Sheelah Moloney opened first in July 2009 in Ballydehob but, needing a bigger footfall, moved to the Mall last December.

There are plenty of red dots to be seen and Sheelah isn’t surprised. “Yes, Tony’s is our first big solo show, the first of many scheduled for this year. I was confident it would do well. His work has wide appeal and is extremely well executed.”

Tony, born in Kerry and now working in the city, is well known for paintings of horses and has now added some cow pictures to his portfolio.

The horse pictures still have more appeal for me but maybe you’d like the cow works better. Go along and see for yourself before the show finishes up next Friday (April 8th).
